RSCS Information Privacy Policy

Welcome to the Web site of Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions®, LLC (“RSCS”, “us” or “we”). This Web site provides information about RSCS® and the services it provides. This Web site also provides purchasing, informational and other services to “Members” of the A&W National Purchasing Co-op, Inc.; the KFC National Purchasing Co-op, Inc.; the Pizza Hut National Purchasing Coop, Inc.; and the Taco Bell National Purchasing Coop, Inc. (the “Concept Co-ops”). RSCS is owned by the Concept Co-ops. Because this Web site provides general information and Member specific information and services, this Web site contains pages that are accessible by the general public and pages that are only accessible by Members.  RSCS does not through this Web site actively initiate any collection of information from anyone who is not a Member. RSCS passively collects information that is automatically sent to us by your web browser. This information typically includes your URL and IP address. The amount of information sent depends on the settings you have on your web browser. Please refer to your browser if you want to learn what information it sends. Other than Members, we do not actively seek to identify any individual visitor, with the exception of investigating security breaches or cooperating with authorities in connection with an actual or potential legal proceeding. We use the information we automatically receive from your web browser to see which pages you visit within our site. We can then develop statistics that are helpful to us in understanding how this site is used by you and others. This statistical data is used by RSCS to help it improve this site and respond to the preferences of visitors and Members. As noted above, this site contains pages and links whereby purchasing and other transactions can be conducted. If you link to another site, you will be subject to and you should review the Privacy Policy for that site, as this Privacy Policy applies only to the information collected through this site. For example, this site links to www.wasserstrom.com and www.buyprimesource.com, among others, and each of those respective sites maintains and follows its own separate privacy policy.  This site also contains pages that are devoted to, and accessible by, each Member on an individual basis. As an example, the “My Accounts” pages contain information specific to a particular member and with respect to which commercially reasonable security precautions have been put into place to help prevent the access of such pages by others. The information on the “My Accounts” pages comes from information RSCS already has and information submitted directly by Members through this site.  With respect to the Member specific information, RSCS will continue to collect and use such information, in a manner consistent with the mission of RSCS and RSCS’s Member Privacy Policy, which has been posted on this site in the Member’s only portion of the Web site.  With respect to Member transactional information, and to the extent transactions take place on this site as opposed to a linked site, RSCS will collect and use such information to carry out the transaction. To carry out the transaction, RSCS will be required to disclose the information, to certain of its employees and agents and to appropriate third parties who are a part of the transaction chain. RSCS may also collect and analyze such member transactional data to evaluate suppliers and distributors and to otherwise best service its Members and fulfill its mission.  RSCS will not share a Member’s nonpublic information with another Member or any other party not referenced in this privacy policy or the RSCS’s Member Privacy Policy except as described in this policy. RSCS often aggregates certain Member information and provides it to other parties in such a manner as to not identify any particular Member, or otherwise uses such information in the aggregate, in a manner consistent with the mission of RSCS and the RSCS Member Privacy Policy. RSCS will not share or sell any information collected at this site for direct marketing purposes. In addition to the other uses described above, RSCS will use information you provide on this site to contact you in response to any inquiries or requests you may have, to describe and/or offer RSCS services to you and to otherwise communicate with you. If you have any concern about the use of information obtained by RSCS through this site, you should contact RSCS at webmaster@RSCS.com. If you disagree with any aspect of this policy, you should immediately discontinue use of this site. Your use of this site constitutes your consent to the terms of this privacy policy.  We reserve the right to update and revise this policy, and the Member Privacy Policy consistent with the mission of RSCS.
